Sunday 27 November 2011 Maree's shortlist yielded Eduardo Sacheri's novel The Secret in Their Eyes, translated from the original Spanish La Pregunta de Sus Ojos. The basis of the Best Foreign Language Film at the 2010 Oscars, the novel is set in 1970s Buenos Aires and is part love story, part murder mystery.
